What’s New at EPCOT: Tons of Food and Wine Merchandise and THREE New Treats in the France Pavilion!
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another edition of “What’s New at EPCOT!“
And, we’ve got plenty of merchandise, food, and construction updates to share with you, so let’s dive right on in!
EPCOT Food Update
Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosks
Joffrey’s Coffee is one of our favorite places to stop by before we make our lap around the World Showcase, especially since pumpkin spice season has started!
We noticed that Joffrey’s kiosks throughout the park now have menu boards outside of the booths so guests can check them out while standing in line.
The original hanging menu boards are still available as well, so you have multiple chances to decide what you’d like (which is the hardest part)!
France Pavilion
Foodies who are in EPCOT might want to stop by the France Food & Wine Festival Booth since there are several new offerings on their menu!
You can snack on the buttery and flaky Feuilleté d’Escargot à la Crème d’Ail et Persil or Escargot in Puff Pastry with Garlic and Parsley Cream Sauce…
Ever wondered what Escargot tastes like? Find out here!
…and you can sip on the smooth and sweet Rosé Pétillant Méthode Traditionelle Champenoise or Pink Flaming Rosé Sparkling Wine! Fun fact: the Rosé is made using the méthode traditionnelle from a region that is home to many pink flamingos!
Read our full review of the fancy Pink Flamingo Rosé here!
Make sure you save some room for dessert too, friends! L’Artisan des Glaces is offering a new Piña Colada Ice Cream Martini with Rum and it’s just sooo good.
When you order it, you’ll get to choose your ice cream flavor and whether you’d like Grand Marnier, whipped cream vodka, or rum to go with the piña colada.
Melt over the new Piña Colada Ice Cream Martini with us!
American Adventure Pavilion
Block and Hans was closed today and the Cast Member we spoke to said they believe it will only be open on the weekends.
Germany Pavilion
Even though Block and Hans was closed, the Germany Bier Cart was open to guests! We haven’t seen this spot open for several weeks, but we were happy campers knowing we could get the Frozen Mezzo again!
EPCOT Construction Update
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Each time we see progress on the Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster, we get more and more excited about the debut of the attraction, which is currently set for next year!
We recently noticed that a patent has been filed for a new “support structure installation,” buuut we’ll have to wait and see what that means! In the meantime, there’s been some continued progress on the roof and other parts of the building as construction keeps pushing forward for that 2021 grand opening.
EPCOT Merchandise Update
Mouse Gear
Well, well, well, what have we here? An Oogie Boogie MagicBand with Lock, Shock, and Barrel?? Don’t mind if we do!
As you start decking yourself out in the most terrifying get-ups you can muster for the Halloween season, we think it’s pretty much a given that the Oogie Boogie MagicBand will go frightfully well with your outfits…
…and we’d totally roll Oogie’s snake eye dice to make a bet on that! ;D
Take a look at all the terrifying details on the new The Nightmare Before Christmas MagicBand here!
Since EPCOT reopened, we’ve been waiting to see Food and Wine Festival merchandise around the park. And, we think that the Food and Wine Dooney and Bourke Bags were totally worth waiting for! You can tote around the goodies you grab in EPCOT in the Satchel…
…keep your extra snacks inside the Crossbody…
…(complete with a super cute tag to commemorate your trip to the festival)…
…or carry around the Wallet to keep your Annual Pass, ID, and other essentials!
Check out all the Food and Wine Dooney and Bourke bags here!
Multiple Locations
Since there’s so much food and merchandise around EPCOT, it might be helpful to keep a gift card handy throughout the season! And, we love THIS little cutie with Remy looking just as happy as we are to be snacking at the Food and Wine Festival!
The Fjording
When in Norway, it’s only practical to drink beer like a Viking! And, you can pick up several pieces of drinkware that even the most hardened Viking would melt for at The Fjording. Whether you’re drinking morning coffee or grog, you can use the Viking Mug for $19.99…
…complete with the “EPCOT World Showcase” tag in rune-like print…
…a great handle for carrying the amount of coffee you might need in the morning (AKA a lot)…
…and a rustic appearance on the inside of the mug to really get you in those Viking feels.
When you’re out exploring the world, don’t forget to take your Viking Water Bottle along with you! The shiny material reminds us of a shield…
…which would be perfect for fighting sea monsters, like the one decorated on the side!
Toast to your friends and family with this Viking Shot Glass, complete with a monster on the front…
…and a bearded Viking on the back for $9.99! He’s really rocking that beard, don’t you think?
We saw many of the Food and Wine Magnets and Phone Cases at the preview we attended, and they’ve now popped up in the World Showplace too! As you’re creating your own perfect dish at home, you can reference the Figment Measurement Magnet…
…remember your time hopping from booth to booth with the Taste Around the World Magnet…
…rule your kitchen with the Queen of Cuisine Magnet…
…sip on some of your favorite beers and brews at home as you admire the Brews Magnet…
…or let all your visitors what a cooking guru you are with the “Olive to Cook” Magnet, all for $14.99 each!
If you wish you were at the Food and Wine Festival all year long, you can take home the Minnie Food and Wine Phone Case…
…Annual Passholder Food and Wine Case…
…and Taste Around the World Phone Case for $29.99 each.
If you want to get a little fancier, you can pick up the 3D Taste Around the World Phone Case that really makes your food POP for $34.99! We’re getting hungry just looking at it!
Take a look at the rest of the Food and Wine merchandise we found in Disney World!
