What’s New at Magic Kingdom: TRON Construction Update, Portrait and Caricature Artists are BACK, and the Return of SO Many Missing Snacks!
It’s been a busy week at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
We spotted more construction work, Halloween decorations, returning snacks, and Disney merch FOR DAYS! Let’s take a look at everything new in the Magic Kingdom!
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies
We spotted quite a few returning treats this go around! A couple of them were found in unexpected places. The Space Ranger Slushy is usually found at The Lunching Pad. The quick-service location is temporarily closed so this snack was missing for a while. Now it’s back but in a new location. We discovered the grape and green apple slush at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies!
And yes, the straw is still coated in candy!

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
The crowd-favorite Cheshire Cat Tail was also missing upon reopening. Never fear! Although the Cheshire Cafe is still closed, you can get this chocolate croissant at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe for now!
The Cheshire Cat Tail is available on Mobile Order for this quick-service restaurant!

Magic Kingdom Construction Update
TRON Lightcycle Run
TRON Lightcycle Run is a rollercoaster that will be based on the Disney movie, TRON. This attraction has seen a steady progression since the park reopened. We got another look at the construction this week! While riding the monorail, we spotted painted blue walls being installed around the coaster’s indoor structure. Things are movin’ right along!
Magic Kingdom Attraction Update
“it’s a small world”
New physical distance barriers were installed in the line at “it’s a small world” recently.
Disney World’s new health and safety regulations call for physical distancing in public. This attraction queue is particularly tight so Disney installed plastic windows to create a barrier between guests.
