What’s New at EPCOT: Future World Construction, a Reopened Restaurant, and Pumpkin Spice (and Everything Nice)!
Welcome back to EPCOT!

THIS is where the 2020 Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is currently taking place, and we’re anticipating the arrival of even more Festival Food Booths joining the scene soon. But while we wait, we’re finding plenty of new things around the park this week to be excited about right now. From a reopened restaurant to the takeover of Pumpkin Spice and MUCH more, we’re checking out what’s NEW in EPCOT!
EPCOT Food Updates
Traveler’s Café Starbucks
The first stop in our EPCOT travels is, fittingly, the Traveler’s Café, which is the park’s temporary Starbucks location.

As with the other Starbucks locations in Disney World (and, of course, the Starbucks near you), the Fall Flavors have arrived!

Actually, Traveler’s Café is the spot where we discovered some of the fall drinks available a little early. But now you’ll see the “Fall For All” drinks officially listed on the menu: the Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and… let’s see… it feels like I’m forgetting something. What could it be?

Oh, yeah! The return of the PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE!! The above is a photo of our first PSL of the season at The Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. (How many have you had at your Starbucks so far?)

YES! Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur is BACK for the season!

Note that it’s only available for purchasing by the bottle for now — it’s not served as a shot for the time being. So, I guess you’ll just have to buy the full bottle. Prost!

Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie
Making our way to the France pavilion, a new 3 piece Special Edition Macaron Collection has made its debut at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie!

While the 6-piece collection remains available, the Special Edition features beautifully decorated macarons in blackberry, raspberry lime, and orange chocolate.

L’Artisan des Glaces
Staying in France, we learned that a new seasonal ice cream flavor is available at L’Artisan des Glaces.

Raspberry Pear is currently up for grabs… but not for long, according to a Cast Member. But they shared that they are expecting a new seasonal flavor and are hoping it be available next week.

(Could this mean the return of the Pumpkin Spice Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich? We don’t know… but you can trust that we’ll be checking!)
Teppan Edo
And, ICYMI, another EPCOT restaurant has reopened: Teppan Edo in the Japan pavilion!

The spot is serving dinner in the evenings from 4PM – 9PM. (Just something to note, as this spot usually serves lunch as well.)

EPCOT Construction Updates
And now, let’s make our way back to Future World to check out several of the ongoing projects that all serve as part of the historic transformation of EPCOT!

Here’s another look at the new recently-installed pylons, which guests can now see in front of Spaceship Earth as they enter the park.

Ultimately, these pylons will be part of the main entrance fountain which will set an entirely new scene for the park entrance.

We stopped by the home of what is becoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind where we peered from a different angle at the ongoing work on the roof.

And just steps away is the upcoming PLAY! Pavilion, which will present playful and innovative opportunities for FUN in a “city” setting — all inside the previous Wonders of Life pavilion.
