What’s New at Downtown Disney: A Favorite Brunch Spot Reopens, Something’s Happening at Disneyland, and So! Much! Halloween Merch!!!
While Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are still closed and Disneyland’s hotels have asked guests through September 5th to reschedule, Downtown Disney, the Disneyland Resort’s shopping and dining district, is OPEN for guests!
We took a little stroll through Downtown Disney to do a little shopping (duh!) and to see what’s new! Come along with us!
Disneyland Construction Update
Emporium
OK, TECHNICALLY, our first big update from Downtown Disney is actually from the Disneyland Esplanade. While Disneyland Park is still closed with no reopening date, we couldn’t help but take a little peek through the gates.
And when we DID, we noticed that the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. was undergoing some construction!
Of course, we couldn’t get a closer look at those rafters to see what was going on. And while we know that they’ve been working on the Avengers Campus over at Disney California Adventure, it’s good to see that things are happening inside Disneyland Park too!
Downtown Disney Dining Updates
La Brea Bakery Cafe
After closing its doors along with the rest of Downtown Disney in March due to the global health crisis, La Brea Bakery has officially REOPENED!
You can once again rejoice in carb-y options at La Brea Bakery Cafe, with their all-day brunch, which includes Pecan-Stuffed French Toast, Breakfast Croissants, and Blueberry Pancakes.
Due to regulations in California, La Brea is only open for outdoor dining on the patio. Their hours are 10:30AM to 8:00PM on Monday through Thursday and 10:30AM until 9:00PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
