We OFFICIALLY Know When Fall Decorations and So Much MORE Will Take Over Disney World!
Let’s be honest, we’ve been celebrating fall and Halloween for a WHILE now!
Our Halloween costumes are picked out. We’ve got some cute options for our pets too. Oh, and pumpkin spice drinks? We’re already enjoying them in our leggings. But, now it’s time to get serious…we have an official date when all kinds of fall fun will be coming to Magic Kingdom!
We spotted a tiny bit of fall decor in Magic Kingdom recently and we were so excited!
Now, the Disney Parks Blog has officially announced more fall fun coming to Magic Kingdom from September 15th through October 31st!
Let’s go through some of the fun offerings:
Decor
You’ll fall in love with Magic Kingdom all over again as you walk down Main Street, U.S.A. and admire all the fall decor, including all of the pumpkin-themed wreaths that will be adorning the lampposts.
Cast Members are already hard at work making all of the magic happen, and we can’t wait to see it!
Characters
Even though we can’t hug Mickey right now, we have really enjoyed seeing him and all of our friends in the character cavalcades. This year, there will be a special Halloween-themed cavalcade with some of our very favorites — Mickey, Mickey, Pluto, and more of their pals. And they’ll even be wearing their favorite Halloween costumes.
Over in Frontierland, you’ll want to keep your eyes open for Chip ‘n’ Dale, who you’ll find in special costumes as well.
More of your favorite Disney characters will also be dressed up. You’ll find them riding the horse-drawn trolley down Main Street.
Costumes
If you want to join your Disney friends with costumes of your own, you’ll be able to dress up in the park this year! For the first time, guests of all ages will be able to wear Halloween costumes of their very own during Magic Kingdom’s regular operating hours from September 15th and October 31st.
But, always be sure you’re following Disney’s rules regarding costume masks and regular masks. Costume masks are not permitted for adults. Only kids younger than 14 years old can wear costume masks. And all guests are required to wear an approved face covering, so be sure to check Disney’s policies and costume guidelines before your next visit. And if you’re looking for a fun Halloween-themed mask, check these out!
More!
Be sure to look out for PhotoPass photographers as well who will be available for some themed photo opps. Lots of Halloween-themed merchandise and Halloween snacks will also be available in certain locations in Magic Kingdom.
We cannot wait to have tons of fun in Magic Kingdom will all of our Disney friends dressed in their Halloween best! We’ll keep you updated on any more exciting Halloween Disney news!
