The BEST Things the NBA Players Did This Week in Disney World

The NBA season re-start officially kicked off at Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex last week!

Thank goodness for social media, because that means we can check in on all of the NBA players to see what they’ve been up to at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Let’s recap what has been going on inside the NBA “bubble” at Disney World this week.

Life inside the “NBA Bubble”

Did you know there was an NBA Campus App? Orlando Magic’s Terrance Ross shared some of the features of the app, including how to order food, request to attend a game, and more! We also spotted My Disney Experience on his phone!

Remember those Haunted Mansion-themed Crocs we shared with you guys not too long ago? Well, it looks like we aren’t the only ones celebrating a new pair of Crocs arriving in Disney World! Denver Nuggets’ Troy Daniels shared a video of his new one-of-a-kind Crocs sent to him by KFC!

We would TOTALLY rock some Crocs in the parks alongside you, Troy! There’s also an abundant spirit of giving in the NBA Bubble! San Antonio Spurs’ Patty Mills got a scooter for his teammate Rudy Gay, “so they could roam the Bubble in style.”

There are also birthdays to celebrate in the NBA bubble! This past week, Los Angeles Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma celebrated his birthday along with his teammates, who threw a pizza party for him! A plane was also seen flying over the resort with a special birthday message.

Enjoying the rest of the Disney World Resort

The NBA players all seem to be taking full advantage of the many perks and amenities at their disposal! When they aren’t playing or practicing on the court, they can go fishing, bowling, or swing their clubs out on one of Disney World’s golf courses!

The players can enjoy bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Disney Springs after hours, and while some seem to be great at bowling, other players should DEFINITELY stick to professional basketball.

Fishing also seems to be a popular activity for the players. We’ve seen several videos pop up around social media of players out on boats over the past couple of weeks, with the most recent outing happening today!

The driving range is open for players, too! We’ve seen a couple of videos of NBA players out on the golf course as well on the driving range. Miami Heat’s Duncan Robinson seems to have great form!

We’ll keep checking in on the NBA Bubble in the coming weeks and see what else the players are up to!

The NBA players have their very own barbershop, too! Click here to learn more.
