Is This Currently Closed Magic Kingdom Restaurant Getting Ready to Welcome Guests Again Soon?
If you’ve been following along, you know that the reopening of Walt Disney World Resort is taking place in phases. And even though all four Walt Disney World theme parks started to welcome guests again in July, that does not mean that every attraction, experience, eatery, and store in the parks reopened immediately.

In fact, we have a whole list of restaurants that we put together so you can know which ones are currently open in the parks and which ones remain closed. But it seems as though we might be able to move one favorite counter service spot in Magic Kingdom from “Closed” to “Open” on that list soon…
With MANY thanks to DFB Reader Blake B. (who very kindly shared the following photo with us), it appears that Gaston’s Tavern might be opening its doors to guests soon!

Though this spot has not yet reopened to guests, cast members were coming and going in the area just outside the Tavern and appeared to be measuring lines to mark for physical distancing (which is one of the current measures implemented around the Resort for the safety of guests and cast members).
Could this mean that Gaston will be serving up Warm Cinnamon Rolls and LeFou’s Brew again soon?!

(Of course, Gaston assumes we’re swooning over him… when we’re actually swooning over extra icing on our Cinnamon Roll!)

Only time will tell. (Well, Gaston will probably be bragging about it, too, whenever it reopens.
