There are a few things we LOVE about the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT. Avocado margaritas at La Cava del Tequila, dining in the twilight at San Angel Inn Restaurante…

…And, of course, riding Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros!
But, the Three Caballeros are just down to two this week. Earlier this week, we heard that José Carioca had malfunctioned and was MISSING from the slow-moving boat ride. And, of course, we had to see our favorite band for ourselves if the rumors were true!

And as we rounded the final corner of the Gran Fiesta Tour, yes, it turned out that José was NOT there for the troubadours’ grand finale!

Donald Duck and Panchito were still there, singing at the top of their lungs and singing about “where one, two, and three goes,” and always being together, but No. 3 was absent. Instead, some orange and yellow flowers lay where José once stood.

This ride may be all about finding that wandering Donald Duck, but we’re wondering where Jose went and when he will be back! When he does return to the show, you know we’ll let you know! The Three Caballeros are due for a BIG reunion.
