NEWS: Advance Dining Reservations Now Open to All Disney World Guests
Disney World will officially begin the phased reopening of its theme parks on July 11th with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
A few months back, Disney canceled all existing dining reservations and shared that they would “reopen these bookings with a more limited number closer to when the parks reopen.” Now, dining reservations have officially opened to all guests again!
All guests can now make advance hotel and theme park dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. Disney announced this change in the booking window when canceling prior reservations. This is a big switch from the 180-day booking window that we’re used to, so really keep this in mind when planning!!
Remember, if you are booking a dining reservation for inside the parks, you will need valid park admission, a reservation through the new Disney Park Pass reservation system, and a dining reservation. Do keep in mind that park hopping and Disney Dining Plans are unavailable at this time.
Take a look at all of the dining locations expected to be open when the parks reopen here!
If you are booking at advance dining reservation at a hotel, it is important to note that a confirmed dining reservation is currently required for those not staying the night. This also applies to those looking to dine at a table service location at a hotel different from the one they’re staying at. Remember, not all of the Disney World hotels are open at this time.
You can see when more hotels plan to reopen here.
Guests can currently book online, through the phone, or on the My Disney Experience App. We have experienced a bit of a glitch that we thought we’d share with you guys. When booking through My Disney Experience, we are redirected to the desktop site. But we are able to hit the arrow in the top left corner, which redirects us back into MDE on the app.
This has been the case for us since dining reservations opened at Springs. Either way though, after getting back onto MDE, we were able to book a dining reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant (which will be modified upon reopening) just fine.
We will continue to keep you updated on the reopening of Disney World, so stay tuned!!
