NEW! Disney Is NOW Selling Extra-Large Face Masks
With face coverings now mandated in many parts of the country, including Orange County, Florida, and Anaheim, California, and a requirement for guests visiting Walt Disney World and Disneyland, it’s more important than ever that people have an appropriate face covering on hand.
In our books, everything’s better when it gets the Disney treatment, and that goes for face masks too! When shopDisney released its adorable line of character-adorned cloth face masks, people flocked to preorder them. But, when they began to arrive in homes, many people ran into one SMALL (literally) problem: Folks are finding that Disney face masks run on the small side.
Masks had previously only been available in sizes small, medium, and large, so many folks were out of luck if they wanted to rock a mask featuring Disney characters like Baby Yoda, Forky, and Winnie the Pooh. Luckily, today we noticed that shopDisney is now selling masks in size EXTRA LARGE!
The extra-large masks come in packs of four for $19.99 and are available in six different themes: Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Disney Princesses and Frozen, and Disney Character faces.
Here’s what to do if your shopDisney mask arrives and it’s too small!
If you were hoping to pick up a set of these masks before you head to parks for Walt Disney World’s reopening this week, there’s just one catch: Extra-large masks are only available for pre-order right now and are expected to ship on Aug. 26th.

Disney World is selling the same shopDisney face masks at the resorts and Disney Springs, and we hope to see them sold in the parks when they begin opening July 11th. We haven’t spotted any masks in size extra large anywhere in Disney World yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know when we do!
As a reminder, all Cast Members and guests ages 2 and up will be required to wear a face covering at all times while in public in Disney World with the exception of when swimming, eating, or drinking. It’s also important to note that there are quite a few types of face coverings that ARE NOT acceptable at Disney World, so you’ll want to make sure the face covering you choose will be allowed. Obviously, the masks sold by Disney are considered acceptable, so you’re good to go with any of those!
