EPCOT Reopening Day Wait Times in Disney World!

Greetings, World travelers. We’re at EPCOT today for its historic grand reopening. And who are we kidding…we’re also here to sample more items at the Food and Wine marketplace food booths scattered throughout the World Showcase.

Bonjour Remy!

So far, we’ve already shown you what crowd levels look like for the first day of the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, which is also making history today. It will be the longest-running EPCOT Food and Wine festival of all time, plus you’ll find parts of EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival patchworked in.

But if you’ve got rides on your mind, you’re probably curious to see how long the wait times are for your favorite EPCOT attractions. Let’s take a look!

12PM

EPCOT opened at 11AM this morning, but wait times weren’t showing up in the My Disney Experience right away. Around 12PM the system was chuggin’ along better and we could see the crowds were giving Living with the Land, Spaceship Earth, and The Seas with Nemo & Friends some lovin’.

Mission: SPACE was up to a 25-minute wait while Frozen Ever After was up to 30 minutes at noon today. Test Track and Soarin’ still seemed to be winning the popularity contest with EPCOT’s longest posted waits.

None of these wait times look too shabby when you compare them to the wait times that we’re seeing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for its reopening day.

1PM

When we checked in again an hour later, some wait times had crept up. Gran Fiesta Tour was up to 15 minutes while Journey into Imagination with Figment has a noticeably longer wait time of 25 minutes.

Mission: SPACE and Frozen Ever After were about the same. But check out Living with the Land! It’s lept up to 40-minutes and taken third place right behind Soarin’ and Test Track for the longest posted wait!

Test Track was up to an hour at 1PM making it the longest wait time at EPCOT we’ve seen so far.

2PM

At 2PM, Spaceship Earth was practically a walk-on while Living with the Land was back down to a more-reasonable 15-minute wait.

Mission: SPACE had dropped down to a 15-minute wait and uh-oh! Test Track unexpectedly closed!

We’ll check back in a little bit to see if Test Track has reopened and we’ll be updating this post throughout the day. For now, you can see what our experience riding Disney’s Skyliner for the first time since the closures was like here!
