NEWS: You’re Not Even VISITING A Disney World Hotel If You Don’t Have THIS (And We’re NOT Talking About Masks)
We’ve been awaiting updates from Disney World regarding their now confirmed reopening that will begin on July 11th.
Now, it appears Disney has shared a LOT more specifics concerning their reopening procedures. We shared the changes announced to transportation, but one of the BIGGEST updates seems to center on the requirements to even ENTER the resort hotels!
Thanks to Twitter user @ScottGustin, who alerted folks to Disney’s updates on their site, we now know that Disney will be requiring guests to have a confirmed Disney hotel reservation OR a confirmed dining reservation (if not staying overnight) to enter the resort hotels.
So it appears that unless you have a confirmed reason to be visiting a reopened resort hotel, for the time being, you won’t be permitted to enter. (Oh, and you’ll need a mask, too.)
Now, Disney has currently paused the option to make any dining or hotel reservations right now as they clear out their reservations system to re-work it for reduced capacity management. So how are you supposed to MAKE those dining and hotel reservations? Stay tuned. Disney has not yet released the full details of their new theme park reservations system or the updated hotel/dining reservation system. What we DO know is that dining reservations will now be allowed 60 days in advance instead of 180 days in advance.
We’re monitoring these new developments and will update you with more information as it’s released.
