Who out there is guilty of looking around during Zoom calls and spying on what your co-workers got goin’ on in their houses? Just us?

Yes, it’s true! We’re totally guilty of doing this! But if we’ve learned anything new about our team members over the last few weeks, it’s that many of us have some pretty cool Disney stuff in our houses! That’s why we’re rebooting the series and inviting y’all inside with this edition of DFB Cribs!
First off, we’ve been admiring the lovely attraction posters in the background of this co-worker’s at-home office for quite a while now! We can’t tell if they’re real or replicas, but we’ll be bringing a jeweler’s loupe for a closer inspection next time she has us over!

But we know this next piece of Disney history is REAL THING — it’s a 1965 Tencennial original map of Disneyland, beautifully framed and presented in AJ’s home!

And it’s lovingly displayed next to two of Disneyland’s original paper popcorn boxes that her dad gave her! Believe it or not, Disneyland has just recently brought this design back into production!

One of our editors got these super-futuristic mirror-finish Epcot Mugs from the park’s opening from her dad too! Looks like good taste (and Disney) runs in her family!

Ahhh! There’s just something special about picking up a new souvenir coffee mug each time you visit Disney World! This writer has been going to Disney World a LOT lately by the looks of it! I think many of us can relate to her Disney mug-buying habit!

In fact, Disney drinkware seemed to be a popular preoccupation with our team! Here are some vintage plastic Disney World cups from one of our reporter’s kitchens (another writer remembered having these as a kid!).

And I’ve been collecting these Pinocchio juice glasses from the 1940s for the last few years! All I’m missing now is Gepetto!

She also has a special place in her heart for Annette Funicello, one of the Mickey Mouse Club’s original Mouseketeers!

And how cool are these old Mickey band-aids and this travel sewing kit?! Some of us are old enough to actually remember using this stuff back in the day! (Duffy! Is that YOU?!)

We’re a little envious of this writer’s collection of Disney Snowglobes! Each one is so detailed, she can pick one up and magically be transported to the Disney parks in no time!

And speaking of globes, I picked up this super-rare Rand McNally tin globe at a toy show a few years ago!

It was actually part of an old board game, but the pieces are long gone! They’re even harder to find than the globe itself, which dates back to the 1950s!

I was also lucky enough to snag this old Disneyland TV Tray which actually pre-dates Disneyland! As you can see, a lot of the lands aren’t filled in because they didn’t even know what the park was going to look like yet!

Walt Disney was a lover of trains! In fact, he loved trains so much he even had one called the Carolwood Pacific Railroad which ran through his backyard! Check out this awesome railroad spike this team member has from Walt Disney World’s Railroad! Such a cool piece of Disney history to own!

And here’s another unusual item one of our writers actually thrifted! She said sometimes when Disney World redecorates their hotel rooms, they donate their old decor to resell shops nearby. That’s where she scored a couple of the old lamps from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! We’re going shopping with you next time we come down there, girl!

She also has this room number plaque posted outside her bedroom! She thinks it’s from either Disney’s Beach Club or possibly Disney’s Port Orleans Resort before they renovated!

We didn’t know one of our writers was quite this much of a Star Wars or LEGO fan until we saw THIS! You think you know a person and then they lay a MASSIVE Star Wars LEGO collection on ya!

Some members of our staff are more into MAKING cool Disney stuff than buying cool Disney stuff! Check out the cool Haunted Mansion “Donald Duck” chair and Stretching Room portrait one of our editors fabricated with her husband (cat not included!).

In fact, she’s quite the unique neighbor to have next door! For Halloween this year she and her husband made their own life-sized Madame Leota Tombstone and her EYES EVEN MOVE!

She also made the creepy fountain from Halloweentown in The Nightmare Before Christmas! Not pictured is it lighting up green with water and smoke coming out of it.
