This Cupcake Has Us Feeling Like We’re Soaring Over Orange Groves in Disney World!
It has been a loooong winter and we are already dreaming of warm spring days!

With the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival on the horizon, we aren’t the only ones with spring time on our minds! And today we spotted a new cupcake full of bright spring colors and flavors over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa that could put you in the spirit of spring too!
We found the adorable Butterfly Cupcake at Gasparilla Island Grill in the Grand Floridian!

It is made with an orange scented cake, filled with orange custard, and topped with vanilla frosting — and all we can say is WOW.

It tasted just as wonderful as it looked! The cake was moist and had the perfect amount of orange flavor coming through. The cake paired well with the vanilla frosting and really let the orange flavor shine — but the filling MADE this cupcake.

It was a true, creamy custard but the best part was how they blended actual oranges in so you get bursts of juice and a little texture with each bite. There was a great ratio of frosting to cake to custard and we only wish we would have ordered one for the road!

You can grab your own citrusy treat for $5.99 at Gasparilla Island Grill! We hope the Butterfly Cupcake doesn’t fly away anytime soon, because we would happily come back for more!
