REVIEW! We’re Whipping Into The Tropical Hideaway For the Next Indiana Jones-Themed Treat in Disneyland!
We’re grabbing our trademark fedora and setting out to find the ANOTHER treasure at The Tropical Hideaway!

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Indiana Jones Adventure, we’ve been unearthing all of the special treats (like the Char Siu Pork Rib Rice Bowl we discovered earlier!) And now we’re onto the archaeological find of the century — and this one’s got to be shaken, not stirred (wait a minute — that’s the wrong movie franchise…).
X never, ever marks the spot (or so we’re told) but today we’ve followed the map to the Noodle Shaker Salad, another Indiana Jones-inspired snack! It’s made with cold vermicelli noodles, chopped pieces of carrot, bits of kelp (which is a type of seaweed), beets, ginger, scallions, and wontons. This salad is served up in a shaker-style cup for maximum dressing coverage!

Speaking of dressing, you can top off your chilled noodles with the vinaigrette provided which includes a tasty mix of soy and yuzu flavors.

Not being the hugest fans of chilled noodles, we still thought all the components had great flavor when they all blended together. The vinaigrette was super mild without being too salty and the Noodle Shaker Salad made for a nice, light refreshing snack!

You can pick up the Noodle Shaker Salad from The Tropical Hideaway for $7.49, but we don’t expect it will be sticking around after March 8th!
