NEWS: Temporary Closure Announced for Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort Due to Coronavirus Concerns
Disney has announced that Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina will close at 5:00 PM on Friday, March 20th through the end of the month.
This temporary closure is in keeping with the Walt Disney World Resort hotels and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort in Florida, which will also close at 5:00 PM on Friday as part of the precautionary measures in light of concerns over the Coronavirus.
The 5:00 PM closure on Friday, specific to Resort hotels, is provided to give guests time to make necessary travel arrangements. In Walt Disney World, the Resort’s four theme parks and two water parks are already closed, as are all Disney owned and operated locations in Disney Springs.
