NEWS: Raglan Road in Disney Springs Announces Temporary Closure Will Begin Late Tonight — March 16, 2020
You may already be aware that all Disney owned and operated locations in Disney Springs will begin their temporary closure as part of precautions due to the Coronavirus effective tomorrow, March 17, 2020. Disney shared in the announcement that individual tenants will make decisions on whether to continue or adjust operations.
We are busy compiling a list so guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel before their closure on Friday, March 20 can soon know the status of the individual shops and restaurants. However, we want to let readers know immediately that Raglan Road has announced via Instagram that the Irish pub will be closing its doors late tonight to begin their temporary closure.
We imagine that many guests had planned to spend St. Patrick’s Day at Raglan Road (since there’s no better place in Disney World to do exactly that), which is why we wanted to direct attention to this announcement immediately.
But we also wanted to share it because we do dearly love Raglan Road, and look forward to raising a glass with our friends there again as soon as possible.
As Raglan Road says in their post, be sure to “share some love…”
We here at DFB have been tracking the steps that Disney has taken around the parks to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. You can learn more about that here.
