Here Are the Transportation Options Available At Disney World During the Coronavirus Closure
With the parks closed until at least the end of March in response to the coronavirus outbreak, Disney World has scaled back the transportation options available to guests.
The Disney World parks will be closed from the end of the day on Sunday, March 15th through at least the end of the month. While Disney Springs and Disney Resort Hotels are scheduled to remain open at press time, it appears there will likely be reduced transportation options available.
With Disney Springs and Disney Resort Hotels remaining open, guests will still have limited transportation options provided by Disney. According to a Cast Member we spoke with earlier today, Disney buses will continue to operate between the Disney Resort hotels and the Disney Springs area.
At this time, the Disney Skyliner plans to be closed, but the Resort Monorail and boats between resorts and Disney Springs will most likely remain available during the coronavirus closure.
This is the most up to date information we have received so far, but (as we have seen with a lot of this coronavirus news) it is subject to change. We will continue monitoring the transportation offerings and will provide any updates as they occur!
