What’s New in Magic Kingdom — Starbucks Drinks, Spirit Jerseys, and a BIG Attraction Closure!

We’re waving goodbye to the holidays in Disney World, so what’s next?

Magic Kingdom Entrance

We took a trip around Magic Kingdom to see what’s going on in the aftermath of the Christmas season. We spotted a bunch of new stuff swooping in in the post-holiday lull, but there are some Christmas items still clinging on too! Check out everything new in Magic Kingdom today in food, construction, and merchandise!

Magic Kingdom Food Updates

Main Street U.S.A.

First off, we headed to Main Street Bakery to get our caffeine fix for the day and boy, were we in luck! There are not one but TWO seasonal beverages now available at this Starbucks location and one of them is brand new! We tried out the Almond Milk Honey Flat White and thought it was pretty tasty.

The Olaf’s Frozen Hot Chocolate Cake is still around too — for now! We’re thinking this guy won’t be in the pastry case for long so hurry over if you still want to give it a try!

Main Street Bakery

It’s the first week of a new month so we stopped by Casey’s Corner to check for a monthly hot dog, but it looks like they don’t have one just yet.

Adventureland

Over in Adventureland, we made our way to Aloha Isle for the best news of our whole day. The Kakamora Float is now an all-day treat! YESSSSS! We love this dessert and we love the coconut Dole Whip by itself so we’re pretty happy to see that this treat is sticking around.

Another of our fave holiday treats is still around at Storybook Treats too, but we expect this one to disappear soon, so get it while you can. It’s the Gingerbread Sundae!

We noticed that Popcorn Carts around the park still had the Mickey and Minnie Happy Holiday Buckets

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

Main Street U.S.A.

Moving on to construction updates, Christmas decorations are still up on Main Street U.S.A. but they could come down any day now!

Christmas Decorations

Frontierland

There’s a big attraction closure in Frontierland but it isn’t too surprising. That’s right, Splash Mountain is officially down for its yearly refurbishment. You should expect to see this popular water ride open back up on February 28, though this has the potential to change.

At least you can stay dry in the park until then!

Liberty Square

We spotted this new sign near the Liberty Tree and the location for Great Moments in American History presented by The Muppets. We’re not too sure what it means, but we’re hoping it means we don’t have to say goodbye to our Muppet pals just yet.

Tomorrowland

As always, we’re checking in on construction on the Tron Coaster, if you look closely you can see that super windy interior track! We’re pumped for TRON Lightcycle Run to open in the next one or two years.
