What’s New at Disneyland Hotels and Downtown Disney: Peanut Butter Blondies, Sorcerer Mickey Cupcakes, and Class of 2020 Grad Ears!

Hey, everybody! It’s time for another roundup of What’s New at the Disneyland Hotels and Downtown Disney!

Downtown Disney’s World of Disney

It’s time to take a walk (and get in a few steps after all that chowing down we did last week at the Lunar New Year Fest in Disney California Adventure!) to see what’s been crack-a-lackin’ in terms of construction, food, and merchandise since our last trip around!

Construction Update in Disneyland Resort:

Jamba

Sorry juice fiends! You’ll have to wait a little longer for the Downtown Disney Jamba (a.ka. Jamba Juice) to reopen! As we passed by its storefront today, it was still lookin’ mighty under-constructiony. We can’t wait to see it when it finally reveals its new look which Jamba is saying will be inspired by “it’s true California juice-shop roots!” Oo-la la!

Food Update in Disneyland Resort:

Craftsman Grill

The Grand Californian’s Craftsman Grill is one of our favorite Downtown Disney spots to grab a snack, especially ’cause they’re now serving up a delicious Peanut Butter Blondie! There’s peanut butter batter with peanut butter candy mixed in, peanut butter icing, and, you guessed it, more peanut butter candies on top. YUMMERS! The Peanut Butter Blondie costs $6.50, so treat yo’self to one, or five... just sayin’!

And check out the Sorcerer Mickey Cupcake we also scored from Craftsman Grill! This little cutie has us under its spell with its vanilla basewhite vanilla frosting, and shimmery blue sugar pearls! Pick him up for $7!

Merchandise Update in Disneyland Resort:

Fantasia Gifts

Next, we slipped into Disneyland Resort’s Fantasia Gifts and spotted this Fab 5 Sling Backpack for $19.99! Love how lightweight and adorable this little bag is — and so easy to pack in our suitcase!

World of Disney

The new-to-us Mickey Denim Jacket we spotted at World of Disney today for $79.99 had us seriously questioning ourselves if we could rock a double-denim ensemble!

Mickey Denim Jacket

I mean, just look at how adorable the BACK of this Mickey Denim Jacket is! Plus there’s lots of extra real estate for our Disney pins and patches!

The sleeve of the Mickey Demin Jacket even comes pre-embellished with this 1955 patch! SO cute!

And we’re always on the lookout for Disney shirts to add to our collections! We love this new Little Mermaid Shirt we spied for $24.99. It says “Met When I Hear a Disney Song” and it’s so true… So true…

Little Mermaid Shirt

We also discovered this new Disneyland Shirt for $24.99. The design is really cool on this little guy — kinda equal parts modern and throwback at the same time!

And we couldn’t agree more with this Timeless Shirt for $24.99. Mickey, Pluto, Donald, and Goofy are all TIMELESS classics in our eyes too!

World of Disney is still running a special promotion — buy any two shirts that normally cost $24.99 and pick ’em up for $22 bucks each instead!

Adult Tees Sign

Calling all scholars! We just spotted the new Class of 2020 Graduation Ears for $29.99 at World of Disney today! The ears have just the right amount of bling to them thanks to all those sparkly black sequins!

Class of 2020 Graduation Ears

And we love that they’re embroidered with the Class of 2o20 on the side! These would make a great gift for the grads in your life, and will be a nice keepsake for them years later! These ears can also be found around Walt Disney World.

Last, but not least, we spotted this adorable Disney Parks Edition Perfection Board Game! The details are truly what sold us on this thing! Not only in the gameboard Mickey-shaped, but the pieces are themed after our favorite Disney attractions! To us, it’s A LOT more interesting than the standard circles and squares you play with in the original version!

Perfection Board Game Disney Parks Edition

Well, folks! That’s it for this edition of What’s New in Disneyland Resort, until next time! We’ll be back soon with more construction, food, and merchandise updates for ya! Until then, keep on keepin’ on with the “Year of the Mouse” celebration at Disney California Adventure! If you heading that way this weekend, be sure to check out our 2020 Lunar New Year Best of the Fest list of snacks and sips HERE!
