What You NEED to Know Before the Space 220 Restaurant Opens in Disney World!
Slated to open this winter at Epcot, Space 220 looks like one of the most far-out dining experiencing to come to Disney World in a LONG TIME!

And while we’ve yet to see the menu of this out-of-this-world table service restaurant, here’s what we DO know –so far!
What is Space 220?
Here’s a rundown of just what exactly Space 220 IS and WHY we’re so amped up about it! Run by the Pantina Group, Space 220 is a simulated outer space restaurant. is Guests will board an elevator that will “rocket them” into orbit as they travel to the Centauri Space Station hovering above the Earth. Diners will see daytime and nighttime views of Earth as they’re surrounded by a full panoramic view of space!

The restaurant is theoretically located 220 above the Earth’s surface!

Space 220 Restaurant is located next to Mission: SPACE in Epcot’s Future World East (which is currently under heavy construction due to the Epcot transformation!)

When will Space 220 be open?
While Disney hasn’t officially released the opening date of Space 220, job postings on the Pantina Group’s website have given us reason to believe we’d see the restaurant open sometime in February 2020. Space 220’s job listings had an estimated start date of February 2020 and included positions for front-of-house staff, bartenders, and a replacement for the restaurant’s executive chef when the former head chef stepped down. Wouldn’t it be funny if it opened on 2/20? Get it 220!!

Space 220 will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We can’t wait to see the menus once they’re released!
What type of restaurant is Space 220?
Space 220 will be a table-service restaurant, meaning you will need an advance dining reservation to experience it. Reservations aren’t open at this time, but we’ll let you know as soon as you can book ’em!
How much will it cost to eat at Space 220?
In the current Epcot guide map, the restaurant is listed as $$-$$$ which places it squarely in the Disney World restaurant’s mid-to-high pricing tier.

Will Space 220 be on the Disney Dining Plan or offer any discounts?
So far, Disney hasn’t announced whether or not Space 220 will be on the Disney Dining Plan or will offer any special discounts, but we’ll keep you posted!

What type of food will Space 220 serve?
The menu will consist of Internationally-inspired cuisine and will have over 1,000 bottles of the world’s finest wines and a wide selection of craft beer. STAY TUNED because we’re expecting menus to be released VERY SOON!
How big will Space 220 be?
Disney has confirmed the restaurant will seat 350 guests at a time. And Space 220 will also have a lounge!
