REVIEW! Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World Has Debuted Their Own Black Spire Hot Chocolate — With a Twist!
When we’re looking for a treat that is simply out of this world, we head straight on over to Batuu!
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is always serving up some truly delicious (and unique!) treats. From the scrumptious Ronto Wrap, to Blue Milk (ya gotta try it at least once!), it’s easy to feel like you’ve truly stepped onto another planet when you visit the section of Hollywood Studios. And now, we’ve got another delicious addition to the menu over in Batuu, and this is the treat you’re looking for!
Say hello to the new Black Spire Outpost Hot Chocolate! Now, this is not to be confused to the purple, sparkling version we found over in Disneyland — instead, this special hot chocolate holds a twist of its very own.
The Black Spire Hot Chocolate in Disney World is milk hot chocolate combined with hints of orange and spices. When we picked this up, it looked just like a regular ol’ hot chocolate. But, then we took a sip, and OH, BOY!
Appearances are deceiving with this one! While it doesn’t look like anything exciting, this hot chocolate is packed with flavor. Consistency-wise, the hot chocolate is very thick, almost like drinking straight chocolate without it being too rich. The spices and orange flavoring are both fairly light, but still come through in a pleasant way.
While you can also get a regular Hot Chocolate over on Batuu, with the current cold temps in Florida, this Black Spire Hot Chocolate was a very welcome surprise! We found it available for $3.79, or a snack credit, at Kat Saka’s Kettle in Galaxy’s Edge, but it’s also on the menu on Docking Bay 7 and Ronto’s Roasters.
Speaking of Galaxy’s Edge, did you see that Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will now be accepting FastPass?! Read all about it here!
