It’s time to slip into those comfy pants and catch up on everything that’s been going on at Disney World this week! And for those of you who don’t have a lot of time to spare (a.k.a. everybody!), we’re gonna make it really simple! Here are the 3 biggest pieces of Disney World news that happened this week!
Character Meal Prices Went UP!
While we were all hibernating snuggly in our beds in the wee hours of Monday morning, sweeping price increases went into effect! Almost every character dining experience offered at Disney World saw a few bucks added to their already expensive price tags!

While most costs for adults only went up by $1, kids’ meals saw the biggest price increases, making each character meal $3-$4 more expensive than last year. It’s not uncommon for Disney World to raise its prices for character meals year after year, but we didn’t want you guys to be caught when you saw the bill!

The new Simba Popcorn Bucket doesn’t hold very much popcorn, but this is more of a “form over function” situation anyways! Previously, the Simba Popcorn Bucket had been released in Hong Kong Disneyland, but we’re so excited he’s finally arrived HERE at Disney World! Find him prowling around at The Feeding Ground, Mahindi, and Corn-Ivores!

The Celebration Donut is GONE!
It is with heavy hearts we must tell you this sad, sad news…the huge Mickey-shaped donut which we’ve feasted on (more times than we’d care to admit to) has suddenly vanished without a trace!
Wanted: Celebration Donut’s Safe Return!
And while the Celebration Donut has been known to move around from time to time since it first came on the scene for Mickey’s 90th anniversary, we’ve been searching high and low for it but have come up empty-handed! It was most recently being sold at Main Street Bakery, but we’ve also seen it at The Lunching Pad and Cheshire Cafe as well!
