Festival of the Arts Artful Photo Ops Are Starting to Appear in Epcot!

Epcot is gettin’ ready for its fourth annual Festival of the Arts, which starts this Friday, January 17th!

Photo Ops

The festival celebrates three artistic disciplines: culinary, visual, and performing arts! While we’ve already seen a preview of 2020’s merch, food, and entertainment, today we started to see some of the festival’s decorations going up!

We were thrilled to see the new Gusteau’s sign installed yesterday for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and today we noticed the World Showcase had received some of the “Artful Photo Ops” where you can pose INSIDE some of your favorite pieces of art!

Each artful photo op has a sign showing you how to pose!

Simply assume the position, strike a pose and WHAMMO — you’re a work of fine art!

You’ll find several Artful Photo Ops scattered throughout the World Showcase. There are even two new artful photo ops this year, themed after works by Vincent Van Gogh. We love this Frida Kahlo artful op we spotted by the Mexico Pavilion, which is also where we ordered the secret menu Winnie the Pooh Margarita!

We’re big fans of the Expressionist painter Edvard Munch as well! You can recreate his famous work “The Scream”…

…or Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, the “Mona Lisa”, by standing in front of their iconic backgrounds!

It’s hard to get Mona Lisa’s half-smile just right, though, so we recommend practicing a little before you get to the festival — here’s some reference material!

We’ll be at the Festival of the Arts reporting live when the festivities kick off this Friday! Until then, make sure you check out this year’s food booths and menus here!
