Disney World Just Quietly Rolled Out a Price Increase That May Impact Your Next Vacation
Something happened under-the-radar last night while all of us were sleeping!

But luckily for YOU, our Mickey senses were tingling this morning when we woke up (they’re especially sensitive when it comes to price increases!) And you know those already pricey character meals at Disney World? Well, they just got EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE!
While we’re big fans of dining with some of our favorite Disney characters instead of spending valuable park time waiting in lines to meet them, we know these character meals don’t come cheap. And if your on a tight Disney World budget (who isn’t amiright?), a price hike (even a small one) might be enough to knock a character meal off your vacation agenda!

That’s why when we noticed this morning several of the character meals had just raised their prices on the down-low, we just HAD to tell ya! So far, here’s the list of character meals we’ve seen affected by these sweeping price increases that happened TODAY!

- Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios
- Garden Grill at Epcot
- Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom
- Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Storybook Dining at Artist’s Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Akershus Royal Banquet at Epcot
- Tusker House at Animal Kingdom
- ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort

Adult prices for character meals at the locations listed above (including breakfast, lunch, and dinner) have all gone up $1. That may not seem like much, but that’s not the worst of it yet, folks! The real kicker is the new kids’ character meals cost. You see, they’ve all increased by $3-$4 across the board. Considering you could be traveling with 2, 3, 4 or even more kiddos, this small price increase could majorly impact your bottom line.

If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan, you might think you’re immune to this recent price hike, but guess again! Remember, you’ll still have to pay tax and gratuity, which will be MORE now that the prices have gone up! Granted, it’s not a HUGE increase, but still noteworthy!

If you’ll recall, we saw several popular Disney parks foods and beverages receive big price increases this fall — along with inflation on our beloved Minnie Ears! And sadly, some of our favorite off-the-menu items weren’t spared from price hikes EITHER! Our beloved secret menu $5 Noods at Tambu Lounge are now $9 Noods and the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding now costs a whopping $12!

Well continue to sniff out more sneaky Disney price increases, but for now, you should probably be prepared to shell out a few more dollars for certain items and experiences on your next trip to Disney World then you did in years prior!
