BEST of the FEST! Our TOP Choices From the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts!

While it might only be January, Epcot is already kicking things off in 2020 with a FESTIVAL! And, you can celebrate the CulinaryVisual, and Performing Arts at this year’s 4th annual Festival of the Arts.

2020 Epcot Festival of the Arts

Now through February 24th, you can catch all the amazing merchandise and entertainment in the park (like the Disney on Broadway Concert Series!). Buuut, there’s also our favorite part — the ood being offered at the booths around the festival. And, obviously, we can’t pass up some good eats and treats in Disney World!

Of course you know we’ve eaten EVERYTHING (yep — every. single. thing.) at the festival…

Check out all the food booths and menus for the 2020 Epcot Festival of the Arts here!

…and we’re here to share with you our must-eats from the 2020 Festival of the Arts! So, without further adieu, you can snack and sip along with us as you check out our…

BEST OF THE FEST!

Here are our favorite EATS that we tried around Epcot today!

Sopes de Barbacoa from El Artista Hambriento

We warned you guys this dish was probably going straight to the top of our 2020 Best of the Fest list when we reviewed El Artista Hambriento earlier today, and HERE it is, right at the TOP! A Fried Guajillo Corn Shell is filled with braised barbacoa beef, black beans, cotija cheeseMexican cream, and chives. Even though the Sopes de Chilorio made our best of the fest last year, we preferred this year’s updated version! The dish costs $7.25.

Char Sio Pork Bun from The Painted Panda

The Char Sio Pork Bun was a tasty addition to this year’s fest! The pork was perfectly roasted and came coated in a mix of salty and sweet sauce! The edible flowers were there for dramatic effect and not-so-much flavor, but we didn’t mind ’em since the rest of the dish was a BIG YUM from us!

Spicy Beef Shumai from The Painted Panda

The Spicy Beef Shumai were little steamed beef dumplings paired perfectly with crunchy fresh pickles! We wolfed these guys down in no time! Hopefully for $10.50, you can make yours last a little longer! Just remember to chew! Chewing is important!

Popcorn Pairing Flight from Refreshment Outpost

What pairs better with popcorn than beer, GLORIOUS beer! The beers have been switched up for 2020 and we love the new line up!
The Barrel of Monks Brewery Endless Enigma Golden Pale Ale is paired with Bacon Barbecue Popcorn. That’s right, folks BACON and BEER! The Collective Arts Brewing Life in the Clouds goes with the Jalapeño Ranch Popcorn, and the M.I.A. Beer Company Malt Bach Brown Ale is paired with the Buffalo Bleu Cheese Popcorn.

It’s hard to see, but the beer is UNDER the popcorn here!

Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich Funnel Cake from The Funnel Cake Stand at the American Adventure Pavilion

This snack was a real treat, y’all! It was definitely a FAN favorite among our team (and even one of the top picks of one of our team members with a serious sweet tooth!).
The funnel cake is topped with peanut butter ice creammarshmallow cream, and raspberry glaze. You can snag this one at American Adventure Pavilion’s Funnel Cake Stand for $9.50 — even though it’s 10’s, 10’s 10’s across the board with us!

Sushi Donut from Goshiki Food Studio

Yes, Disney’s finally done it. They’ve made a Sushi Donut! Actually, they had it at last year’s fest as well (and it made our Best of the Fest in 2019), but it’s EVEN BETTER this time around! They’ve improved the Sushi Donut this year with salmon, tuna, shrimp, cucumber, and sesame seeds, decorated with wasabi aioli, sriracha, and eel sauce. We thought the sauces it came with were especially amazing.

Crème de Brie en Petit Pain from L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise

Another returning favorite of ours — the Crème de Brie en Petit Pain! We look forward to getting lost in this housemade bread bowl filled with warm, creamy brie year after delicious year for $7.75! This one’s a oui-oui with us!

Trio de Macarons from L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise

L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise was the home of another one of our favorite treats at this year’s fest — the Trio de Macarons! The flavors are lime, strawberry, and chocolate! Plus they come beautifully presented in their own little package!

Frozen French Martini from L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise

Our final item to make the Best of the Fest from L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise is their delicious new Frozen French Martini! Made with Grey Goose Vodka, Chambord Liqueur, and their version of POG juice (Pineapple, Orange, and Grape), it’s topped with a zesty lemon-lime foam. Toast to the fine artists that have hailed from France with this yummy cocktail for $14!

Smoked Salmon From The Masterpiece Kitchen

In past years, The Masterpiece Kitchen’s Charcuterie Palette with Artisan Cured Meats and Cheeses and Wild Mushroom Risotto have won a coveted spots on our best-of list; but this year, we STAN for the Smoked Salmon!

It’s served with a cream gâteau and egg yolk cream, Paddlefish caviar, and micro-herbs! It’s brand new to the booth this year for $7! You’ll find The Masterpiece Kitchen over by the Canada pavilion!

Vanilla, Rose Water, and Pistachio Panna Cotta from The Masterpiece Kitchen

The Masterpiece Kitchen also had another one of our favorite desserts — the Vanilla, Rose Water, and Pistachio Panna Cotta! It’s soooo pretty to look at, and has a beautiful subtle, floral flavor! It’s blooming at this year’s Festival of the Arts for $8. Here’s hoping it’ll stick around for Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival coming up next!

The Impressionism Latte & Donut Pairing from Canada Pavilion’s Joffrey’s

We thought the new Joffrey’s coffee and donut duos themed after different artist movements at this year’s Festival of the Arts were a great addition. And our stand-alone favorite was the Impressionism Pairing over in the Canada pavilion’s Joffrey’s. It features a blackberry iced latte that comes topped with a blueberry donut and whipped cream! So yummy! You can pick this awesome treat up for $9.50!

Tomato Soup Can Bloody Mary from Pop Eats!

Things are about to take a sharp turn as we explore this festival’s more contemporary side! If you thought this homage to Andy Warhol wouldn’t make our Best of the Fest this year, you were crazy! The Tomato Soup Can Bloody Mary comes in an adorable souvenir cup emblazoned with Pop Eats! in some crazy Roy Lichtenstein-esque lettering! But it’s not just a pretty package — this thing seriously KICKS!

Tomato Soup Can Bloody Mary

The Tomato Soup Can Bloody Mary might just be one of the best drinks we’ve EVER had in Disney World! While its appearance is super creative, the flavors are incredible. Grab it before it rolls away for $14, we beg of you!

Deconstructed Reuben at the Deconstructed Dish

While we found the festival’s most Insta-worthy drink at the Deconstructed Dish, we also found one of the fest’s tastiest bites! The Deconstructed Reuben comes with sliced corned beefrye-crusted sauerkraut, and jarlsberg Cake with broken thousand island dressing for $6.75.

Sipping Chocolate Flight from The Artist’s Table

It’s pretty hard to manage our slurping of the Sipping Chocolate Flight you’ll find at The Artist’s Table year after year! It’s a Festival of the Arts rite of passage for us at this point, and not one you should miss. Pick up the non-boozy version of warm white, milk, and dark chocolate shots for $8.00, while the adults-only version mixed with Mozart Cream Liqueurs will set you back $13.
