We took a stroll around our favorite conservation-focused park in Disney World today and tried to spot anything new. Check out allll of the Animal Kingdom updates in food, construction, and merchandise!

Discovery Island
Let’s start with the most important updates. Yes, that’s right — it’s food. First up, we spotted that Pizzafari is also serving the new Menagerie Cupcake! We L-O-V-E this new cupcake so we’re glad to see it in a few locations around the park.

Creature Comforts is serving the Menagerie Cupcake too, and they also have a new Cranberry Mickey Brownie for $5.99. Warning: This thing is LOADED with icing, so we hope you have a sweet tooth! Plus, cranberry is a super wintery flavor.

Multiple Locations
You might remember that we spotted a while back a cute winter version of the Lion’s Paw Cookie that Cast Members called the Winter Paw. Well, it officially has a name and signage at snack kiosks around the par, and it’s called the Menagerie Paw Cookie! We’re seeing a theme here…

Animal Kingdom Construction Updates
Discovery Island
Winged Encounters is a show that takes place a few times a day on Discovery Island and features colorful Macaws flying around in front of the Tree of Life. Well, the show just got its very own updated stage area!

We love the design because it has the same type of carved animal faces as the Tree of Life.

Africa
There’s also construction over in Africa and it’s technically a mystery. Although, if you ask us, it’s super possible that this is work on the expected Club 33 location that’s supposed to show up in Animal Kingdom anytime now. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this secret location!

Riverside Depot
And finally, let’s wrap it up with merchandise. We found a bunch of cute new Minnie merch in Riverside Depot! There’s this twist on the classic Spirit Jersey with the Minnie Reverse Spirit Jersey for $54.99.
