New Drury Plaza Hotel Is Coming to Disney Springs Area in 2021!
Disney isn’t the only one getting all geared up for their BIG 50th-anniversary celebration happening in 2021!
While major restaurant chains like White Castle and Portillo’s have recently announced they’d be opening new Disney World-area locations, now the nationwide Drury Hotel Company has revealed its plans to build a new Disney Springs resort location!
The expansive property, Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista, is anticipated to become Drury Hotel’s biggest project to date and will have 604 guest rooms once completed. With competition currently estimated for some time towards the end of 2021, the company has stated they will have 264 rooms available for guests to book in the spring of 2021.
And according to Drury Plaza Hotel, the location will also include a resort-style pool, splash pad, and poolside cantina bar and grill along with an extensive marketplace for grab-and-go food items and sundries; and a kitchen and bar concept, in addition to a wide range of complimentary amenities, including:
- Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
- Hot breakfast, including pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt and more
- 5:30 Kickback® reception including appetizers and beverages
- 24-hour business and fitness centers
The Missouri-based, family-owned and operated Drury Hotel Company currently operates three Drury Hotels in the state of Florida, but this will be the chain’s first official Walt Disney World Hotel. Guests will be able to walk to nearby Disney Springs from this new location, as well as be able to book the hotel as part of a Disney World vacation package. This hotel will also provide guests with transportation to and from the Disney theme parks as well as other nearby attractions! We’ll keep you updated as its construction progresses.
