Find Out Which TWO Disney World Attractions Will Be CLOSED in Early 2020!
We’re coming up on the New Year and that means that colder weather is coming!
The winter season brings alllll sorts of fun to Disney World! We’ve had a blast at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and other holiday festivities and we can’t wait to ring in the new year in the most magical ways around. But, there are some parts of winter at Disney that aren’t as welcome. One example? Those pesky seasonal ride closures! Find out which two Disney World attractions will be closed in early 2020!
Water rides are certainly a little high maintenance, and they’re a bit cold in the winter! So, it’s no surprise that we’re seeing the usual winter maintenances coming soon for Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom and for Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom.
According to the Walt Disney World calendar for Kali River Rapids, the attraction will be closed from January 6 to March 21. Of course, this could change but we can definitely expect to see a significant closure for refurbishments!
As for Splash Mountain, you can say “See you later!” to Br’er Rabbit from January 6 to February 27.
No worries though! These closures are as-usual for winter months at Disney, so we can expect to be back on our fave water rides again in the Spring. Just remember, “You may get wet!”
