While we’ve kept you up to date on ALL the exciting things to do around the parks and resorts for the holiday, we’re taking you to “America’s Great Northwest” for a HUGE party for 2020!
Wilderness Lodge is throwing a 3-day long New Year’s bash at the resort with activities, games, fireworks viewings, and SO. MUCH. MORE.
December 30th
Although it isn’t New Year’s Eve, you can celebrate New Year’s Eve Eve with activities by pool from 12:30 PM until 3 PM. Grab your friends and family and participate in New Year Rockin’ Hula Hoop Games, 2019-2020 Family Fusion, Year-in-Review, and the Celebrate the New Year Pool Party! Plus, close by, you can head to the Buttons & Bells Arcade for FREE PLAY from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Wilderness Lodge New Year’s Activities
For those of you wanting to take something home or have a party snack, you can purchase a Mickey & Firework Tie-Dye kit from 5 PM to 6 PM and Marshmallow Roasting and S’mores from 7 PM until 8 PM. Then, you can get all your loved ones together to watch Toy Story 4 underneath the stars at 6:30 PM, attend the Firework Watch Party from 9:30 PM until midnight, and even watch the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks from Magic Kingdom at 11:50 PM!
December 31st
Buuuut, the real party starts on New Year’s Eve at Wilderness Lodge! You can have a ball with pool-side activities from 1 PM until 4 PM, like Race to 2020 Relay Races, Name That Tune’s Year, Celebrate the New Year Pool Party, New Year’s Eve Bingo, and a Holiday Scavenger Hunt! And, if you really loved the Mickey & Firework Tie-Dye and Marshmallow Roasting and S’mores from the day before, you can do them again from 4:30 PM until 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM respectively.
Wilderness Lodge New Year’s Activities
To end the night (and 2019), you can go to the New Year’s Eve Bash from 8 PM until 12:30 AM with music, character meet and greets, a donut eating contest (!!!), and more! Plus, you can spend some time with your family and friends as you watch the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at 11:50 PM to finish out the decade!
January 1st
In case all of that wasn’t fun enough, you can start 2020 off right with the New Year “Jump Start” Nature Walk from 10:30 AM until 12 PM, where you’ll go for a walk with crafts and activities along the way!
