BEST DAY EVER! Disney’s Riviera Resort Just Revealed A Stunning Mosaic!

And while the Disney World hotel gets ready to welcome its first guests on December 16th, we’ve already seen a few sneak peeks of what this luxe, new resort has in store for us! We’ve shared with you a preview of Rivera’s Cast Members’ costumes, a glimpse at some of its food, and even showed you some pictures of the AMAZING Peter Pan mural that was being installed in the resort’s walkway tunnel!
Now, Disney is sharing even more information and images of the stunning mosaic artistry you’ll find at Disney’s Riviera. The walkway tunnel heading to and from the resort’s Skyliner station is actually home to TWO gorgeous murals. One of which is the Peter Pan mural we mentioned above and the other is themed after… TANGLED!!!

The Tangled mural features one of our favorite scenes from the movie! Just look at all those fabulous floating lanterns lighting up the night sky above the castle! They look just like the ones Rapunzel and Flynn Rider release over the water!

And like the Peter Pan mural, the Tangled mural spans the entire archway, surrounding you in the beautiful mosaic tilework as you pass underneath. You can even see Punzie’s tower on the other side of the arch!

We can’t wait to see the Peter Pan and Tangled murals in person when the resort opens in less than two weeks! We’ll be there with LIVE coverage the day Disney’s Riviera Resort is officially open for business, so stay tuned!
