What’s New at Hollywood Studios — Mickey Tree Popcorn Buckets, Mandalorian Coffee Mugs, and Nightmare Before Christmas Jewelry!

Hey friends! It’s time for another roundup of What’s New at Hollywood Studios!

Hollywood Studios

This is where we take you along on a magical sleigh ride through this Disney World park to see what’s been happening with construction, food, and merchandise!

Hollywood Studios has been really turning up its holiday cheer since we last swung by for the kick-off of the Christmas season on November 8th! There’s much to discuss, so settle in with your cup of hot cocoa and let’s get started!

Construction and Entertainment Update at Hollywood Studios

As we pulled into the car entrance for Hollywood Studios, we spotted some new, cute holiday decor!

And as we walked through the main gate, we saw the Citizens of Hollywood were outside performing in their holiday attire!

Echo Lake

Our holiday trek continued over by Echo Lake where I quick jaunt to the 50s Prime Time Cafe had a retro-inspired Christmas Tree in its living room, err… waiting area.

50s Prime Time Christmas Tree

The tree had some really cute, kitschy ornaments! We were loving all of its details!

50s Prime Time Christmas Tree

Their vintagey-style kinda reminded us of some of the holiday merch Disney released this year including Mid Century Modern-inspired barware and home decor!

And while we were there, “Dad” mixed us up a Mowie Wowie to get us even more into the holiday spirit!

Hollywood and Vine

At Hollywood and Vine, Minnie’s Holiday Dine has returned! Enjoy feasting with the hostess-with-the-mostest, Minnie Mouse along with a few of her friends in special holiday costumes!

Grand Avenue and Commissary Lane

Meanwhile, work has progressed on the new construction we spotted a few weeks ago.

Grand Avenue Construction

While there’s been speculation that the building might house some more restrooms,  a few new pieces of trim work have been added to the building’s exterior as well as some drinking fountains. Looks like our suspicions are getting closer to being confirmed!

Animation Courtyard

Over by Animation Courtyard, there are now banners at the Launch Bay advertising Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker which is being released on December 20th — we can’t wait!

Launch Bay Banners

On their reverse side are advertisements for Disney+’s exclusive new series, The Mandalorian! Have you subscribed to Disney+ yet, ’cause over 10 million people already have!

Food Updates in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Sunset Boulevard

Meanwhile, we stopped by Sunshine Day Cafe and noticed they had an updated drink sign with their two seasonal offerings — the Holiday Mule and the tasty Frostbite which has just made its chilly return. We love sipping on these while taking in the sights of Sunset Seasons Greetings!

We also spied with our little eye the popcorn carts were selling two of the season’s hottest premium popcorn buckets including the Mickey Light-Up Tree Popcorn Bucket as well as the adorable Buffalo Plaid Alien Popcorn Bucket!

Celebrity 5 & 10

Celebrity 5 &10 had a few new items on their shelves for Star Wars lovers. Check out the new Mandalorian Mug we spotted for $22.99!

Star Wars Mandalorian Mug

It’s a really cool, and well-designed piece! We love how it’s sculpted and even has a faux-distressed finish, like a bounty hunter’s helmet!

Star Wars Mandalorian Mug

Plus it’s got a lid, so if you get too absorbed into an episode of The Mandalorian and forgot you poured yourself a hot drink, it should stay nice and warm — at least for a little while!

Star Wars Mandalorian Mug

We also saw this new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Mug for $19.99. One side has Kylo Ren standing with an army of Stormtroopers!

While the other side has all of our best buds from the Resistance! Go get ’em, Rey!

Star Wars Mug

The inside of the mug also has this cute detail, so you can see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker while you be sippin’.

Last, we spotted the Fuel Rod Kiosk was back at Celebrity 5 & 10. There’s been some drama at the Disney parks lately concerning Fuel Rods. The company tried to make free unlimited swaps a thing of the past, but for now, their attempts have been thwarted.
