WOW!! We ate as many holiday treats as there are dalmatians!!

Sleeping Beauty Castle Holiday Decor

Hey, they don’t call it the most wonderful time of year for nothing! 😉 We LOVE eating our way around the Disney parks and the holidays brought about an avalanche of new treats and eats in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Well, we tried A LOT of them — 101 to be exact. It’s a hard job, but someone’s gotta do it. So, now that we’re pretty much experts on the Disneyland Resort holiday food scene, we’re here to tell you our absolute favorite holiday choices!

There’s a ton of awesome holiday options in Disneyland Resort and we’ve picked out which ones made us feel like we were walking in a winter wonderland! So, in no particular order, here are our faves!

Churro Shake

We still can’t get over this one. Drinkable. Churros. BOOM. (That’s the sound of our minds being blown!) A GENIUS IDEA!!! This shake is a must-drink with brown sugar cinnamon ice cream, cinnamon churro cereal, whipped topping, and a piece of that sweet, sweet, heavenly churro toffeeOh yeah, you read that right. CHURRO TOFFEE. If you’ve never had it, you don’t even know what delicious is.

CHURRO SHAAAAAAKE!

Okay, maybe you do. But, seriously churro toffee is a revelation and we’d eat it for every meal if nobody stopped us so essentially liquifying it just made it way easier for us to permanently have to wear stretchy pants. The Churro Shake can be found at Schmoozies! in California Adventure for $7.49.

Churro Milkshake (did you see the toffee? It’s right there on top.)

Cheesy Corn Fries

Award Wieners is one of the best places to find a good hot dog in California Adventure and we never pass on a chance to try out a new fry topper on their iconic Filmstrip Fries. The fries are awesome because of their thickness and shape and they’re perfect for holding up heavy toppings like the ones on the Cheesy “Corn” Fries!

Cheesy Corn Fries

Just LOOK at these babies!! The fries are a real showstopper with Corn-Cheese SauceChile-Lime-dusted Corn FrittersPickled Fresno Chiles and Cilantro. We can’t get them out of our heads! The corn fritters alone are the size of a full appetizer! This is a pretty hefty portion so they work as a meal or are great to share. You can pick them up at Award Wieners for $8.99.

Peppermint Churro

There are a bunch of new churros in Disneyland for the season (Churros…in Disneyland? You don’t say!), and you know we had to give them all a taste! After all, the Disneyland churro is a hands-down classic! A few of the holiday churros made our faves list and the first one is the Peppermint Churro! This thing is as delicious as it is messy so grab some napkins and CHOW DOWNNNN.

Peppermint Churro

The Peppermint Churro is a classic churro with chocolate sauce, vanilla icing, and crushed candy canes and we’re drooling just thinking about it. We spotted this churro at the Redwood Creek Trail Churro Cart for $6.25. It’s a good way to get into the holiday spirit, all while savoring a Disneyland classic… And trying to keep your hands clean!

Beast’s Forbidden Pastrami Burger

Thank goodness this burger isn’t actually forbidden because it is too good to pass up. We stopped by Red Rose Taverne to try out their holiday specials and one really caught our eye (and filled our stomachs)! For $16.49, the Beast’s Forbidden Pastrami Burger is pretty fairly priced considering the absolute mountain of food you recieve!

Beast’s Forbidden Pastrami Burger

The sandwich is made with an angus beef patty topped with uncured wagyu pastrami and a spicy mustard aioli. We can’t get it out of our heads! Add on a skewered tomato, pepperoni, and a pepperoncini on top, and this thing looks like a crazy good meal. Disney burgers can be iffy but this one is SO SO SO very good!
