REVIEW! We Found The Peppermint Bark Churro Stomping Around Animal Kingdom!

If all the prehistoric partying at the Animal Kingdom’s Donald’s Dino-Bash has made you hungry as a Christmas caveman, then we’ve got a solution!

Dino Diner

You’ll find this tasty holiday treat right over at Dino Diner in DinoLand, U.S.A.!

Animal Kingdom is going all out for the Christmas season at Walt Disney World for the very first time this year! While you’ve probably already read about their new holiday puppets and the gorgeous handpainted Tree of Life mural, it’s time to talk about their new seasonal eats — like the Peppermint Bark Churro at Dino Diner!

Peppermint Bark Churro

This Christmas treat is definitely Santa-approved! Served up hot and fresh — the churro is dusted with cinnamon and sugar, with just the top dipped in chocolate sauce, then sprinkled with crushed pieces of candy cane!

It was nice of them not to dunk the whole thing in chocolate because that would have made quite the mess! Because the churro was warm, the chocolate started melting very quickly, leaving the Peppermint Bark Churro looking a little less-than-jolly after a few moments!

Peppermint Bark Churro

And while the Peppermint Bark Churro tasted good, we definitely didn’t get the sense it was “peppermint bark”, so the name was a little misleading, but a cute idea!

Peppermint Bark Churro

The Peppermint Bark Churro costs $6.19, but for the money, we’d much rather enjoy the Peppermint Ice Cream Sandwich at nearby Dino-Bites — it only costs a smidge more, and was SOOO much yummier!
