The Oktoberfest Cupcake from Roaring Fork is a dark beer chocolate cake with bittersweet cream filling and cinnamon buttercream. It’s topped with cinnamon candies, chocolate beer pretzels, and a chocolate beer bottle!

Though the cake is supposed to be made with beer and stout, we thought it tasted more like a normal chocolate cake.

The toppings were the star of the cupcake! We LOVED the cinnamon buttercream and the bittersweet cream filling blew us away. The flavors were just super unique, fall-like, and yummy! Annnnd we were happy to have a cupcake that wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet and that both looked good and tasted good.

Most of the toppings were super yummy and fun. We enjoyed the cinnamon candies and the dark chocolate beer bottle. The only downside here was that our pretzels were a little stale…but hopefully you won’t have this issue when you give this new cupcake a try!
