Salt and Straw

Just when we thought we’d seen it all, Salt & Straw in Downtown Disney released their Halloween flavors! And y’all one of them is giving us MAJOR heebie-jeebies…again.

Salt & Straw often comes up with very innovative and unique ice cream flavors. This month, they have brought BACK The Great Candytopia, Mummy’s Pumpkin Spiced Potion, and Creepy Crawly Critters.

The Great Candytopia is filled with some of our favorite sweet treats. This flavor’s intended to be as if you dumped all of your Halloween candy stash into one delicious ice cream.

According to Salt & Straw this flavor is “swarms of housemade trick-or-treat favorites” which include Reeses, Twix, Snickers, and Heath Bars along with “crisp shortbread and nutty nougat buried in caramel, peanut butter trapped inside walls of chocolate, and pecans smothered in BOOrbon vanilla toffee.”

Mummy’s Pumpkin Spiced Potion is this month’s vegan flavor! This is a spooky combo of spices and herbs which come together to create a very sweet flavor. It includes flakes of pumpkin, caramel, blackberry, vanilla, and August Uncommon Tea.

Now, for this month’s most mysterious concoction — Creepy Crawly Critters. According to Salt & Straw, “dozens of critters are hiding in the grass by way of this matcha ice cream with toffee-brittle mealworms and chocolate crickets.” That’s right, REAL INSECTS dwell within this matcha ice cream.
