What’s New in Magic Kingdom — Pandora Charms, Construction Updates, and Winnie the Pooh Wishables!

Welcome to our latest roundup of What’s New in Magic Kingdom!

Cinderella Castle

It was a dreary, rainy day in the Kingdom, but that didn’t stop us from exploring all the park’s changes and updates (including a NEW set of Wishables!)!

Before we dive in, we just want to give you a bit of a glimpse of what we experienced yesterday. Due to the stormy skies, many of the park’s flags had either been removed or rolled up.

We also noticed some shorter-than-normal wait times, likely due to the closures and cancellations caused by Hurricane Dorian.

Some snack carts and kiosks were closed during our visit as well, like Maurice’s Amazing Popping Machine.

Having said that, let’s dive into what we found during our latest visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Tomorrowland

In Tomorrowland, we noticed that fall drinks are now available at Joffrey’s Revive. If you’re looking for a simple cup of coffee, the kiosk is currently offering Citricos Coffee Blend.

Magic Kingdom Construction Update

Transportation and Ticket Center

We have several construction updates to unpack today, including the construction we saw near the Transporation and Ticket Center. The construction work we saw was in the area where the trams used to pick up and drop off Magic Kingdom guests.

Entrance

Construction work continues around the entrance to Magic Kingdom. It looked like most — if not all — of the Disney’s Walk Around the World bricks had been removed in the blocked off area.

We’ll keep you updated as this construction progresses!

Liberty Square

In Liberty Square, we noticed that the doors along the newly reopened Cinderella Castle walkway had been painted.

Also in Liberty Square, we caught a glimpse at the ongoing construction near Liberty Market. The fence covers were down during our visit, likely because of the rain.

We’ll let you know as we learn more about this construction project!

Main Street, U.S.A.

While we were walking down Main Street, U.S.A., we noticed a yellow decoration we didn’t recognize on the top of the popcorn cart. A Cast Member mentioned it was added a while back,  but the umbrella that is usually up and open covers the top of the cart.

The yellow motif helps the cart to better match the other carts near Cinderella Castle.

Tomorrowland

In Tomorrowland, construction is still progressing on the TRON Lightcycle Run, which is expected to open in time for Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebrations in 2021.

We recently shared a look at the costumes and ride vehicles for this highly-anticipated attraction — you can take a look here!
