Epcot’s Character Spot Moves to a New Location!!
Epcot is currently undergoing a MASSIVE transformation and a lot of changes have started to take place.
Locations like Fountain View and Club Cool (bye-bye, for now, Beverly) have officially closed. And Epcot’s Character Spot meet-and-greet location has been relocated.
Character Spot was actually home to two character meet-and-greet areas that were located across from one another in Epcot. At one spot, guests could meet Baymax, Joy, and Sadness. At the other, guests could meet Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy.
The side with Joy, Sadness, and Baymax is currently operating as normal, though Disney has announced that it too will undergo renovations.
The doors have been closed on the old Character Spot location and the windows have been covered with a grey tarp.
Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy are currently meeting in the previous Innoventions building.

The backdrops at the new location are a TON of fun.
It features postcards with the World Showcase, the monorail, Spaceship Earth, and more.
Character Spot was one of our favorite locations because guests were able to meet three characters at once by waiting in a single line or by using a single FastPass.
But sadly, this new location is currently NOT offering FastPasses.
We’re hoping this changes and we will let you know if it does! But as of now, there are no FastPasses to meet Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy at Epcot.
While we are sad to see some of our favorite locations go, we cannot wait to see what magic Disney has in store for us!
