BREAKING NEWS! Disney Cruise Line Announces Vacation Destinations for 2021!

Are you ready to set sail with Disney Cruise Line?

Disney Wonder

Then, grab those flip flops and sun hats because the 2021 Disney Cruise Line locations have been revealed!

In early 2021, you’ll have the chance to sail from New Orleans! According to Disney, “in addition to Disney Cruise Line’s inaugural season in the Big Easy coming up in 2020, you have more opportunities to sail from the Crescent City with your family in early 2021.” This limited-time offering will take cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean, and will, of course, include visits to Castaway Cay. As usual, voyages will continue to depart from Texas, California, and Florida.

If you’re setting sail from Louisiana, “you can experience the flavors and flair of the Big Easy both onboard the Disney Wonder and ashore.” Tiana’s Place restaurant will embed you in the New Orleans culture, and you’ll be “transported to an era of southern charm, spirited jazz and street party celebrations with live music and other surprises inspired by” The Princess and the Frog. If you aren’t a local to New Orleans, we personally suggest adding a couple days to the beginning or end of your trip to experience everything the city has to offer (like the OG beignets).

Starting in January 2021, you’ll be able to sail from New Orleans on a four- or five-night cruise to the Western Caribbean. According to Disney, the five-night voyage includes a visit to Progreso, Mexico, a new port of call for Disney Cruise Line on the Yucatan Peninsula. This quaint town is filled with treasures for your family to explore together, from ancient Mayan ruins to hidden swimming holes filled with crystal-clear water.”

Also available will be three seven-night cruises to the Bahamas with a stop at Castaway Cay, in addition to a 14-night Panama Canal cruise.

If you’re sailing from Galveston or San Diego, you have plenty to look forward to as well, as the Disney Wonder will return to those ports in 2021. On cruises from Galveston, “you can enjoy the white-sand beaches of the Western Caribbean on a series of four- and six-night cruises to Grand Cayman and Cozumel.” If you’d prefer a slightly longer trip, one seven-night cruise will include stops at Key West, Nassau and Castaway Cay.

Later in 2021, the Disney Wonder will make way to San Diego for several cruises to Baja and the Mexican Riviera. Cruises will vary in length from three to seven nights, and during your vacation, “your family can hunt for gold aboard a pirate ship in Cabo San Lucas, embark on an off-road adventure in Ensenada or sunbathe on glittering sand beaches.”

According to Disney, there will be “three ships sailing to the Bahamas and Caribbean from Florida in early 2021, and every cruise includes a day at Disney’s private island paradise, Castaway Cay.” If you didn’t know, Castaway Cay is an island oasis exclusive to Disney Cruise Line guests.

Departing from Miami, the Disney Magic will sail three-, four- and five-night Bahamian and Western Caribbean voyages, while Port Canaveral “will continue to be home to the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.”

The Disney Dream

As always, these cruises will feature “Broadway-style shows, immersive themed dining, imaginative kids clubs, character encounters and spaces for everyone in your family.”
