We’re BACK with another roundup of What’s New in Epcot!

Spaceship Earth

Today we’ll talk about all the new merchandise, menu updates, and the construction updates we found. Let’s get started!

Epcot Food Update

Future World

Kicking things off in Club Cool, all sodas aside from Italy’s Beverly were available when we were there. When we last checked, Club Cool was out of Brazil’s Guarana Kuat soda, so we were glad to see it back in stock.

World Showcase

Over in World Showcase, signage for the Brewer’s Collection booth is now up. We previously spotted the booth last week. We can’t wait for Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival to kick off on August 29th!

At Joffrey’s, we spotted a new spinach and cheese pastry for $4.99.

In the Germany Pavilion, the beer and pretzel booth (which will be used for the Food and Wine Festival) was closed when we were there, but the beer and pretzel cart is back!

In the Canada Pavilion, its future Food and Wine booth is closed, but the actual Popcorn Cart is back. The Ketchup Chips were still on the menu for $4 and they added Unibrone Autre Chose Peach IPA to the menu for $11.

Epcot Construction Update

Future World

Back over in Future World, we noticed that construction is underway to put up the Food and Wine Festival booths. You can view all the menus for this year’s festival here!

Also in Future World, construction is progressing on the Guardians of the Galaxy coaster. We sure wish we knew what’s going on inside the show building, but in the meantime, we’ll just be counting down the days until 2021!

Construction is still ongoing for the space-themed restaurant as well. The immersive restaurant is set to open later this year, and we are super pumped about it!

When we were in Epcot, we noticed a construction wall outside Coral Reef. The restaurant’s main sign is covered, but the dining location is still open. We’ll let you know if we learn more about the construction!

In the American Adventure Pavilion, construction is underway to convert Liberty Inn to Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue. The new dining location will feature barbecue and beers on tap when it opens. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more updates on this restaurant!

We’ve previously mentioned the construction work taking place in the Canada Pavilion, and we’ve now seen the addition of designed construction covers. We aren’t super sure what’s going on behind the scaffolding, but we assume the construction is for general maintenance.

In the Canada Pavilion, Northwest Mercantile’s sign by the registers honored O Canada‘s last day before its temporary closure. In case you missed it, O Canada has temporarily stopped running as a new film is created for the attraction. During Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival, the O Canada theater will serve as an air-conditioned space to relax.
