What’s New in Disney’s Hollywood Studios — Teriyaki Meatballs, Star Wars Phone Cases, and Evil Queen Backpacks!

Welcome back to another update of What’s New in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Sci-Fi Dine-In

Today, we’ll chat about some new Star Wars merchandise, menu changes, and more!

Let’s get started!

Hollywood Studios Food Update

Echo Lake

First up, we found a few menu changes at 50’s Prime Time Cafe. Cousin Amy’s Iceberg Lettuce Wedge has been updated to become Cousin Amy’s Plant-based Iceberg Lettuce Wrap. It now has Ranch instead of blue cheese, and rice paper bacon instead of actual bacon. Cousin Harold’s Vegetable Lasagna has been replaced by Cousin Harold’s Plant-based Entree, which will change seasonally.

At Hollywood & Vine, Minnie’s Halloween Dine has returned!

Grand Avenue

The Grand Avenue snack cart, which is located near Muppet*Vision 3D and Star Tours, has been turned around to face the entrance to Galaxy’s Edge.

This cart, which usually sells corn dogs, churros, and cotton candy, is now also selling teriyaki meatballsmarinara meatballs, and a turkey sandwich as well!

During our visit, we tried the teriyaki meatballs, which are served with noodles. We thought the teriyaki sauce was really good and the meatballs themselves were pretty tasty. They were tender and juicy, unlike the noodles, which were pretty dry. On the whole, we enjoyed this new menu offering!

Hollywood Boulevard

At Trolley Car Cafe, we were so glad to notice the return of the fall drink menu! Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is new to Starbucks’ fall lineup, and we actually tried it during a visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Pumpkin scones, pumpkin cream cheese muffins, AND pumpkin spice lattes have all returned, so you have plenty of ways to get your pumpkin spice fix!

Hollywood Studios Construction Update

Echo Lake

Near Echo Lake, construction is still progressing on the building going up next to Epic Eats. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about this location!

Pixar Place

Over in Pixar Place, the Guest Experience Team had a screen out right across from Joffrey’s, although it wasn’t being used. We assume this may possibly be used to display wait times, but it was not operational during our visit.
