What’s New in Disneyland Resort — Betsey Johnson Minnie Ears, Lucky Fortune Cookery’s New Menu, and MORE!
Welcome back to another update of What’s New in Disneyland Resort!
Today we’ll talk about new menu items, some adorable travel tags, Betsey Johnson Minnie Ears, and so much more. Let’s get started!
Disneyland Resort Food Update
Disney California Adventure
In Disney California Adventure, Lucky Fortune Cookery has introduced an entirely new menu! The quick-service location offers a variety of entrées, sides, kid’s meals, and beverages served on real dishes.
During our recent visit to Lucky Fortune, we tried the Teriyaki Chicken, Szechuan Chicken, Pot Stickers, Japanese Mule, and Lucky Dragon IPA.
Overall, we were very pleased with the items we tried and thought the restaurant offered a higher quality experience than many other quick-service locations around the parks.

Downtown Disney
Downtown Disney’s Sprinkles location was advertising its Fluffer Nutter Cupcake, which is available through August 25th. This cupcake consists of banana cake, peanut butter filling, and toasted marshmallow. If you love peanut butter, don’t miss out on this one!

Grand Californian Hotel
The new GCH Craftsman Grill has introduced its August hot dog of the month — the End of Summer Slaw Dog.
The End of Summer Slaw Dog is a grilled bratwurst with spicy brown mustard and tangy yuzu slaw. It’s served with a side of house chips for $10. We did enjoy the bratwurst and house chips but were a bit underwhelmed by the yuzu slaw. This meal will likely only stick around through August, so go ahead and try it soon if you’re curious about it!

Disneyland Resort Construction Update
Pixar Pals Parking Structure
We don’t have many construction updates to share this week, but we did notice some new trees outside the Pixar Pals parking structure! While the garage has been open since late June, landscaping work around the structure has continued since then.
Disneyland Resort Merchandise Update
Disney California Adventure
While we were in Disney California Adventure, we stopped by Los Feliz Five and Dime and spotted some super cute travel ID tags! Each tag is $16.99 and comes with a lanyard.
We found a Mickey Donut tag…
…a Toy Story alien tag…
…a Stitch tag…
…and a Dumbo tag! Our personal favorite is the Mickey Donut, but the Dumbo tag is a close second! Which one is your favorite?
In Elias & Co., we couldn’t help but notice the new Betsey Johnson Minnie Ears and jewelry.
Sparkly pink tulle makes up the ears while a sequined black and white bow serves as the finishing touch.
The colorful (and glittery!) jewelry collection includes three necklaces of varying sizes, two pairs of earrings, and one bangle.

Downtown Disney
While we were in Downtown Disney, we spotted the adorable Mickey Pumpkin Loungefly backpack in World of Disney! We previously spotted this backpack in the same store in Disney World, so we’re glad it’s materialized in Disneyland Resort as well.

To wrap up our time in Disneyland Resort, we NEED to show you this picture we took of Goofy and Pluto. They were dressed in Avengers attire and looked even more adorable than usual!
Well, that wraps up our walk around Disneyland Resort! Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for even more news from the Disney parks and resorts!
