STAR WARS HOTEL NEWS! Come Aboard the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser: Halcyon!
We’re just starting to get the first big news out of the D23 Expo…and it’s awesome! We’ve finally got a tiny bit of new information about the Disney World Star Wars Hotel!
Star Wars Hotel — Halcyon starcruiser
Previously, we learned where the Star Wars Hotel would be located, and that the hotel would be a “fully immersive, multi-day event” for guests. But tonight we got a few more details!
First, the hotel doesn’t really seem to be a hotel…in any sense that we’ve experienced, anyway! The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser news confirms our suspicions that this will be more like a cruise ship, all-inclusive experience than your typical hotel stay!
The Disney Parks Blog calls this a “glamorous starship,” and notes that guests will board for a two-night stay where they “will interact with characters and become active participants in stories that unfold around them on their galactic journey.”
