Review! SECRET Menu Item Found at Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!!

We stopped by Oga’s Cantina this evening to give a few more drinks a try before wrapping up our Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Opening Day adventures!

Oga’s Cantina

While we were there, we started chatting with a few Cast Members to find that Oga’s Cantina has a huge, crazy, massively insane SECRET MENU ITEM!

Sooooo we, of course, had to try it!!  I mean, as if the opening day of Food and Wine and a ton of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge coverage hasn’t provided us with enough snacks already?! (Good thing calories don’t count at Disney anyway, right??)

A Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy… and tasty drinks!

And here it is: Oga’s Cantina has a secret menu Charcuterie Board filled with some rather interesting things…

SECRET Charcuterie Board

The board has four different types of meats. These include Bresola Air-Cured Beef, Roasted SPAM (you read that correctly), Roasted Mortadella, and Roasted Chorizo Sausage. There are also two different kinds of cheeses which are Pulled String Cheese and Burrata with black salt.

To top it all off, there are a few different types of veggies including burnt scallions, roasted radishes, picked caulalini, and roasted shishito peppers. And we received a heads up that one out of ten of these peppers is VERY spicy!

But, wait…we’re not done yet! Because it also comes with crispy pork rinds seasoned with Garam Masala (curry), and an olive oil torta-crispy flatbread seasoned with honey and olive oil. Oh, AND a black bean and tamarind spread.

And, ummm… we didn’t enjoy this thing. Like, at all.

Honestly, the SPAM and the string cheese were the best components. The chorizo was slightly burnt, which we actually enjoyed because it had heat and good flavor. The torta, though, felt like a weird choice because they’re sweet against something like the Burrata which was VERY salty.

Basically, we just thought that this dish was trying waaaaay too hard! It costs $21, so folks all we have to say is GO TO BASELINE TAPHOUSE instead because their Charcuterie Board is the bomb.com.

We also needed a few sips to wash down this massive thing, so we still tried the Toniray Wine and the White Wampa Ale!

The Toniray Wine ($13.00) has a nice teal blue color and a refreshing citrus taste.

The White Wampa ($14.25), which seems to change colors depending on your lighting, has bananas and citrus characteristics. Other than that, it just seemed like a standard wheat beer!

No matter what, though, we can always say this… we’re surprised every time we step inside Oga’s Cantina!! Check out our full review here!
