Review!! New Popcorn-Topped Pride Cupcake in Hollywood Studios
Disney is celebrating Gay Days once again! And in honor of the big event, a few locations around Walt Disney World have released rainbow treats!

Yesterday, we shared the Razzle Dazzle Sundae from Disney Springs and the Rainbow Pride Cupcake from Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter. But now it’s time to check out a bright, huge, and interesting Pride Cupcake from Hollywood Studios.
Trolley Car Café (aka the Hollywood Studios Starbucks) serves some of our favorite cupcakes, like the Peanut Butter Crunch Cupcake, for example. That’s why we were so ready to give this new Pride Cupcake a try!!

This is a vanilla cupcake with vanilla mousse filling, and it’s topped with strawberry buttercream icing and Joy’s Confetti Popcorn.

And friends, if you’re trying this treat, be sure to grab a fork because this thing is stacked so high it was practically impossible for us to get our mouth around.

And though this cupcake is totally cute and fun (and completely Instagrammable), the flavors were, well, non-existent. The cake was fine, but not spectacular by any means.

The popcorn was well…stale, the icing was tasteless, and the nonpareils (rainbow sprinkles) gave the cupcake an odd texture.

Overall, this thing was cute but we did not enjoy it. If you’re looking for a pride cupcake we DID enjoy, definitely check out the Rainbow Pride Cupcake from Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory instead.
You can find this cupcake at Trolley Car Café for $5.99. Our guess is that it’ll only be around for a limited time.
