Review! BACON Covered Marvel-Themed Legacy Funnel Cake Fries in Disneyland Resort
One of the best parts of visiting Award Wieners in Disney California Adventure is seeing what new funnel cake fries or hot dog creation they have created.

And you’ll never believe what’s on the menu right now — Legacy Funnel Fries topped in BACON!
The Legacy Funnel Cake Fries are celebrating 80 years of Super Heroes. They are funnel cake fries dusted with cinnamon sugar and topped with maple glaze, bacon bits, and chocolate cookie crumbles. They also have a white chocolate “Marvel 80 Years” medallion on top!

We have had our share of specialty funnel cake fries from Award Wieners, and each version is good in its own unique way. This one, however, stood out significantly and it stood out for one main reason — BACON — which gave the fries a nice sweet and savory balance.

The flavor of the maple glaze was very apparent and went well with the bacon (as maple flavor does with bacon in almost every other “maple bacon” treat!).
The funnel cake fries were crisp and delicious. Our one complaint, you ask? Well the cookie crumbles appear to have been placed on the plate first and then everything else was piled on top of them, rather than the cookie crumbles being placed on TOP of the fries. Since it’s way too messy and a ton of work to try to get the cookie crumbles from the bottom to top, we ate the fries without the cookie crumbles.

Apart from that, we would still say it is one of our favorite funnel cake fries releases from Award Wieners due to the unique taste from the bacon and maple glaze. We found these at Award Wieners for $8.99 before an AP discount.
