Review and Pics!! Host-A-Ghost Cupcake in Disney World
Well, it’s officially the Haunted Mansion’s 50th birthday!! The attraction opened 50 years ago in Disneyland — can you believe it?
As we have mentioned, Disney is throwing a huge celebration with limited time treats and merchandise on both coasts! To get the swinging wake started, we’d thought we’d review Magic Kingdom’s Host-A-Ghost Cupcake.
This is a chocolate cupcake with a dark chocolate truffle filling. It’s topped with crispy pearls, buttercream icing, and the death certificate of either the Hatbox Ghost or Constance Hatchery.
Ours happened to be the Hatbox Ghost!
The cupcake itself was very dense and moist. There is a LOT of buttercream frosting stacked on top, and since it’s green and purple, you can expect it to stain your teeth and hands!
Despite the messiness, the texture and flavors were delicious! We sure wish it would stick around longer.
Now, you can find these at the ice cream cart by the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom. But be warned, they are selling out FAST! It’s $8.25 and will only be available today!
And don’t forget to hurry back because we will be reviewing several Mansion treats available at Disneyland throughout the day! You can check out the full list of Haunted Mansion snacks here.
