Permits Filed for Flamingo Crossings Town Center, Future Home of Target and More!
Shopping and Disney World go hand in hand, and we’ll never balk at opportunities for even more places to spend our pennies in the area.

Permits were recently filed revealing the proposed layout for the new Flamingo Crossings Town Center, located just off Disney World property. We have photos of the plans if you want to check out what to expect in the coming years!
Full Layout of Flamingo Crossings Town Center
Flamingo Crossing is a developing area to the west of Walt Disney World, and it recently got some major attention at D23 when they announced a Target would be coming to the main shopping center that is currently under construction. They also announced a new partnership with Disney and Target where mini Disney Stores would open inside select Targets! When we’re not spending all our money at Disney World, we’re spending it at Target so this is a match made in heaven (or is it?!).
Flamingo Crossings Close Up Plans
A few locations, like a Walgreens and a Speedway gas station, are named on the plans. We can only guess which location might be the new Target, but it will likely be one of the larger buildings in the plans. This will be mega helpful for offsite guests or guests on the west side of Disney World property (helloooo, Animal Kingdom Lodge fans!).
Flamingo Crossings Plans
Guests on property without a car should be able to easily utilize Minnie Vans or other rideshares to get to this new shopping center once it opens. We’re all for having a few more close shopping options that don’t necessarily have that “on Disney property” price tag that can come with it.
