Are You Ready to PLAY!? We’ve Got Details on Epcot’s Forthcoming PLAY! Pavilion — Including WHO You’ll Be Playing With!
The D23 Expo was very enlightening with regard to Epcot’s on-going transformation, one that finds the beloved park in a “state of becoming” as Imagineer Zack Riddley said. One such change is the creation of the PLAY! Pavilion in what will be Epcot’s World Discovery neighborhood.

The PLAY! Pavilion is described as a “digital metropolis” where you’re able to connect with others in new and fun ways — through “games, activities, and experiences.”
We now know that one of those experiences will find guests working with fashion designer Edna Mode to “rid the world of uninspired style.” Sounds glam, right?

When you’re done taking care of those fashion faux pas, warm up your arm to join a water-balloon fight with Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby!
Wonders of Life Becoming the Play! Pavilion
The PLAY! Pavilion is being developed in the old Wonders of Life Pavilion, and D23 confirmed that the new Pavilion is set to open in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration in 2021! We’ll keep checking on progress at Epcot… and start thinking about what we could possibly wear that wouldn’t upset Edna…
