6 Disney Food Favorites You Can Find Outside of Walt Disney World (and WHERE to Get Them!)
When those post-Disney Parks blues kick in, there are lots of ways to fill the void. Some of us read trip reports, others ghost plan future trips (don’t say we’re the only ones who do this…), and still others pore over their vacation photos and videos. All of these efforts to reclaim the magic are valid, but there’s one way in particular that DFB recommends: eating. But not just any old snacks! We’re talking Disney Parks food favorites you can find at home!

Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars
Back in January of 2019, Disney announced that its iconic Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar would soon be available in grocery stores around the country. And we heard from lots of readers who were excited to find their favorite frozen, Mickey-shaped treats close to home!

We taste-tested them ourselves and noted a few differences. They’re noticeably smaller than the bars in the parks, and the ice cream seemed a little less creamy. But overall, we still got that snap as we bit into the chocolate, and it still resembled the classic Parks treat. We’ve seen these range in price from $7 to $8 for a box of six, so there’s a price difference, too. But if you need a little magic (and ice cream) in your life, these will work!

Dole Whip
Dole Whip has become a quintessential Disney Parks treat, and you know we’re always on the lookout for new incarnations of this popular frozen, non-dairy treat. But what about when you get home? How can you replicate that sweet and tart pineapple soft-serve? Well, there are surprisingly several ways to accomplish this!

For starters, if you’ve got an ice cream maker, you can order the Dole Whip mix and make some yourself. Endless (at least until the bag runs out!) Dole Whip on demand? Yes, please!
The Dole Plantation in Hawai’i also serves the frozen treat (of course!), and we’ve spotted it at random amusement parks around the country, too. So keep your eyes peeled in your travels!

But you can also find Dole Whip on tap at nationwide froyo chains like Sweet Frog and Menchie’s where you can also top your Dole Whip with whatever you please! (Just give them a call to find out when they’ll be rotating it into their machines!)

They’re sized for lunchboxes or road trips (Where are you going? Are you going to Disney World? Can we come?), and even though they’re not really a health food, they do contain some vegetable goodness along with that familiar chippy crunch!

Develop a hankering for your favorite Park jerky from Krave? This meaty snack is available nationwide, so you don’t have to wait until you return to the Parks to cave in to that protein Krave-ing (see what we did there?). You can even order a variety pack here!

Pure Growth is another nationally-available snack that we’ve grown accustomed to seeing in the Parks. These organic treats are super-fun, including favorites like Mickey-shaped chocolate animal crackers!

We think the kiddos would love to see these treats in the cupboard at home while they’re reminiscing about their best Disney memories. We’ve spotted these in big box stores, so the next time you stop in for toilet paper (and end up buying fifteen other things), throw a pack of these in the cart, too!

If you gain an appreciation (read: a desperate craving) for Selma’s Cookies while you’re in Walt Disney World (same!), brace yourself. Selma’s are available to order online!

In the Parks, you’ll find Selma’s in confectionery cases and pre-packaged and branded as Minnie’s Bake Shop. On Selmas.com, order a variety box, a bunch of chocolate chip, or a tin for special occasions — or get one of each because cookies.
Bonus: Mickey Straws!
These aren’t expressly an edible treat, but Mickey Straws make every beverage a little more fun to drink! We’re not seeing these included with drinks in the Parks these days, but we were able to find them online (click here!) so the Mickey sipping fun can continue even after the luggage is unpacked!

Yeah, we’re a little obsessed with Disney Parks food, so you can bet we’re always on the lookout for ways to replicate the snack experience when we get home. These are some of our favorite ways to keep the magic alive!
